The Ladies Room

// The Ladies Room //

(Good Evening world! This post is slightly different, I've asked my boyfriend to write the whole of tonights blog post and totally take over! I've just read what he wrote, he's an incredible writer I really hope his words captivate you as much as they do me... Enjoy!)

Let me introduce myself, I'm Jack. I've been following Charlotte's blog for some time now and with every post she publishes I find myself more and more mesmerized by her unique vision and ambitious styling. I've yet to see an outfit that she hasn't made work fantastically. Having experienced Charlotte's aesthetic mastermind first hand walking through the shops with her, (I'm not a right hand stylist I just carry the bags), I was seriously keen to be a part of one of her shoots.

The outfit Charlotte pieced together really intrigued me. The long skirt is such a beautiful color, strong and statement, I wasn't sure what it would match well with. Charlotte went as brave as she always does and paired it with a leopard print blouse, she made it work perfectly and I would expect no less from her.

 I really wanted to make use of the bathroom in my house for this shoot, the washed out pale colors and eccentric mix of props felt like it would make for an interesting backdrop to Charlotte's outfit, which to me, expressed a real dark moody elegance and carried a certain angst that I couldn't help but pick up on. For me, the grey lighting and the lavish bath helped create the story that I wanted to tell.

Charlotte is the most driven, hard working and passionate person I have ever been lucky enough to meet. I take great pleasure in watching her plan, build and create the wonderful blog that you all read. I know full well that the support Charlotte receives from each person that follows and shares her work, makes her day and pushes her to do bigger and better things with each post she writes, so I would like to thank you all for that, no one I know deserves such support like Charlotte does. It's always a pleasure working with her and being a part of the magnificent projects her incredible energy shapes.
