Mustard

When I lack inspiration to write, I need a weekend away. In this case, it's needed a good two trips away. It's been a bluddy long while since I've wrote a proper blog post. So as I'm on this flight home from a few days away in Barcelona I've decided to get a post on the go.

I hate abandoning my blog, but all bloggers must get that time every once in a while where they're left searching for inspiration, in my case I left it so long I got to the stage where I thought it would just come to me instead of searching high and low for it to hit me. I'm still not 100% sure if it's here, but I'm gonna try and shoot out a post for you all. This year I want my blog to focus a lot on personal style still, but a lot on travel, lifestyle, interviewing and even music. I really want to grow my YouTube channel, I feel if I can't find the words to write some times I'll have the words to speak aloud.

So to get back in to the swing of things me and Jack shot a quick outfit from one of the days out in Barcelona. This outfit is nothing special, I threw it on one morning since I wanted to wear it all at once. Also layering since I was unsure on how warm it would be in Barcelona. It sure was warm, so the layers weren't exactly needed, but I liked how it all worked together. Denim, Suede khaki, woven Aztec, mustard roll neck, yes, a full on colourful combo with plenty of different textures.

You may recognise I've had my hair done also, I couldn't deal with the roots or the patchy lilac any longer so as I hit 21 I wanted a full head of baby blonde highlights again. This allows me to wear any kind of colour again. I like that.

Writing on this plane has made it a whole lot easier, allowing myself to just write straight from my mind. I think I'll find myself writing from different places in the future, since staring at a blank laptop sometimes is pretty sickening. Have a great week.

  1. I love this bold & fun look. I adore a really interesting print, so your skirt is spot on.

  3. I know the feeling - it's hard to get back into blogging when you've lost inspiration. I always think it's best to take a break and go back to it when you really want to! Lovely outfit pics :)
