LFW - that was SO last week!
I headed down to London on the Friday evening to catch Pam Hogg's show which I was dead excited for.
After getting there dead early I was lead to believe I was in the correct queue with my tickets being checked too.
But nah. I wasn't. So yeah, show was at full capacity in the end. Which left me feeling pretty irritated.
I was literally going to mug off the rest of the weekend. I felt I had seen a different light over LFW.
I thought ''yeah, this scene really isn't me at all'' - I could totally see why a lot of my blogger friends don't bother with the whole LFW scene.
But I thought ,meh, I'm down in London so I may as well rest my head,
refresh myself and give it another chance. I think I was just in a 'screw everything' kind of mood anyways.
Saturday arrived, with the wise words of a friend saying 'just wing it' - and that's the attitude I had for that day. I walked up to Soho with little plans, and ended up bumping into the lovely Sherri & Claire at the new location for LFW (verdict on the new location: odd) we ended up being approached by some of the team at American Express who gifted us a ticket each to attend a talk that day- we went along and it was pretty fab indeed. Hosted by former model Jade Parfitt, The talk had the likes of Mickey Boardman, Liz Matthews & Angus Munro speaking about their roles in the fashion industry. It was super interesting to learn more about each of them & they're day to day life. After the talk we met up with a few other blogger babes including the lovely Laura from thatssoyestreday.blogspot.co.uk - we all decided to head out to Wahaca for a bite to eat. It was my first time eating there and I have to say it was damn tasty indeed. I LOVE mexican food, so Laura completely sold it to me when she showered her passion for Wahaca all over us girls.
HELLS YEA TO FRESH GUAC!

So yeah day 2 turned out being just great. I took some 'wing it' advice and I had a blast.
LFW always seems to create more pressure & stress than it's actually worth.
Thank you to the gorgeous Sherri for grabbing these shots of me.
